What are your plans for September? As the temperatures start to drop for fall, it is the perfect time to start looking for local events that you can take advantage of with your whole family. Mark your calendar for these local events this month.

On September 12th, head out to the Community Counseling Center for Bite at the Museum 5: CCC’s 25th Anniversary Gala. This event offers participants a unique opportunity to explore various museum artifacts and exhibits before enjoying some of the most delicious food that Las Vegas has to offer. Bite at the Museum also includes an awards ceremony that showcases businesses and individuals that have helped to shape the Community Counseling Center.

If you are looking to make the most of the delicious produce that is available during the summer, then you will not want to skip any of the local farmers’ markets. There are plenty of markets to enjoy in the community, including:

  • Las Vegas Farmers Market at Bruce Trent Park on Rampart Blvd. every Wednesday from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m.
  • Las Vegas Farmers Market at Gardens Park on Gardens Park Drive every Thursday from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m.
  • Las Vegas Farmers Market at Floyd Lamb Park at Tule Springs every first and third Saturday of the month from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
