McKee Family Ranch Pumpkin Patch is the perfect place to get everything you need to get ready for fall. With hundreds of pumpkins to choose from, you’re sure to find the perfect pumpkin for your jack o’ lantern. The pumpkin patch also features a hay bale maze, corn cannon, face painting, horse-drawn hayrides and a pony ride.

The undead maze in Las Vegas is the perfect place if you’re looking to get spooked this season. With one of the best haunted-houses in the area, make sure you’re ready for all that the haunted house has to offer.

If you’re looking for a more adult event, make sure to come out and enjoy all that the 5th Annual Las Vegas Halloween Parade has to offer. The parade begins at 13th Street and Freemont and makes its ways down to Las Vegas Blvd. Make sure to wear your best costume and plan for a wild night out on the town. We are excited to announce that our annual unarmed combat charity event; Round 5: Knockout Cancer for Candlelighters Kids raised over $33,000!  We want to first and foremost thank Texas Station for their wonderful hospitality and efficient staff.  We would also like to greatly thank all of our partners, sponsors, donors, as well as all media outlets, gyms, fighters, planning committee members, USA Boxing, ISKA and their wonderful team and everyone who came out to support this event.  We are already looking forward to next year’s event; Round 6: Knockout Cancer for Candlelighters Kids to be the best one yet!

New Office Location!

We are proud to announce the opening of our new office located at 153 W. Lake Mead Parkway, Suite 2100 in Henderson.  This brings our total offices here in Southern Nevada to six.  Thank you to our clients, referral sources, insurance companies we represent and everyone in our organization who take care of all the important groups we just named.  We look forward to many more years of growth and success!

We Loved Volunteering at the 5K & 1 Mile Race for a Superhero!

We just got done sponsoring the 24th Annual 5K & 1 Mile Race for a Superhero, and loved every minute of it! The event took place on September 13th and helped to raise funds for Candlelighters Childhood Cancer Foundation of Nevada. We have enjoyed sponsoring the event for the past few years, and love being able to watch the event grow each year!

The race was hosted by Chet Bucanan, and was tons of fun! Almost everyone came out and dressed up as their favorite superhero to help support the Candlelighters Kids and families. We cannot wait for next year’s event to help this great cause even more!

The Candlelighters foundation was started to help support children who’ve been diagnosed with cancer. They focus on helping children from birth to 21 years of age who are living or being treated in Nevada. The Foundation was founded by two families who had children that were being treated for cancer. The hope of the foundation is to help families in these situations find strength, comfort, and knowledge by coming together in a time of need.

What started with a dedicated group of volunteers has grown into a strong force of full-time employees who help 100 families each month, and as much as 600 families throughout the year. There is no fee or membership that is required to receive comfort and help from the Candlelighters. All families in the area who are dealing with childhood cancer are eligible for the services that they offer.

On Friday, October 3, 2014, we once again sponsored and coordinated our annual unarmed combat charity event that raises money and awareness for local kids battling cancer through Candlelighters Childhood Cancer Foundation of Nevada. We had another successful event thanks to all involved in putting it on. This year, the event included not only MMA and Boxing, but Kickboxing and Grappling. To date, the event has generated more than $133,000. We are already excited to start planning next year’s Round 6: Knockout Cancer for Candlelighters Kids!

Halloween is a great holiday for all ages but some parents tend to get nervous around Halloween time because of the many dangers it can pose to younger children. Tickets are now on sale for our annual unarmed combat charity event; Round 5: Knockout Cancer for Candlelighters Kids, on Friday, October 3rd at the Texas Station.

You can purchase tickets through www.candlelightersnv.org, call 1-800-745-3000, or at any Station Casino.  We are planning quite a show.  We will have various forms of fighting on display such as; MMA, Kickboxing, Boxing and Jiu Jitsu.  Please remember all proceeds go directly to Candlelighters Childhood Cancer Foundation of Nevada to help children battle this awful disease.
